My day trips do not seem to be working at the moment in their current format so time for a change in approach.

If you would fancy a day (or even two) wildlife watching in East Anglia please throw some dates at me and I shall see what I can do.

Costs would be as follows: Either £40 per adult if four or more and £150 per day if less than four people. Child rate remains at £15 over 12 years old.

Winter day trips could include Snettisham high tide wader roost, the Rook and Jackdaw gathering at Buckenham Marshes, Cranes in the Broads, winter wildfowl, waders and raptors on the Suffolk and Norfolk coast or Abberton Reservoir and the Essex coast.

Early spring could see us searching the Brecks for Goshawks or the Suffolk Sandlings for Woodlarks and the first Wheatears before the full season arrives and anywhere is an option!

Summer gives us non avian opportunities with insects coming to the fore and butterflies and dragonflies can easily fill a day before late summer becomes autumn and migration time once again takes in almost anywhere where birds may make landfall.

The updated spreadsheet for my 2026 plans can be found here.
